Saturday Night Lights with Tryon International
Saturday Night Lights w/ Tryon International
Heart of Horse Sense will be at Saturday Night Lights hosted by Tryon International on July 13th!
This summer event series features free entertainment such as pony rides, live bands, face painting, rides on a hand-painted Venetian carousel, performers, and more! Heart of Horse Sense will provide a live demonstration of our equine-assisted psychotherapy and learning practice, showcasing the unique way in which horses can heal wounds and change lives.
While we won’t need any volunteers for this event, Saturday Night Lights is free and open to the public, so we hope folks from our herd will attend wearing their Heart of Horse Sense shirts! We would love folks to showcase visible support for Shannon’s amazing demonstration! Grab dinner, a carnival-style treat, your beverage of choice, and enjoy top show jumping competition under the lights in Tryon Stadium with family and friends. Leashed pets are always welcome, too!
We will be selling our private-label coffee as well! Event sales will support our efforts here at Heart of Horse Sense, providing low to no-cost therapy services for veterans, first responders, youth, and other survivors of trauma.
Family fun begins at 5pm!

Winter Mane Event
ONLINE RSVP HERE!
The Mane Event is tradition here, an annual get-together where we have horsey-themed games and art projects for the kiddos in the barn, equine demonstrations for adults, and refreshments for everyone.
This year, we’re going to decorate ornaments for each child to take home, plus decorate some for a special tree for the horses—wooden horseshoes, carrots, and more! Demonstration at noon! There’s also news that a few “reindeer” might show up!
Just come to the farm and be ready for fun. Our address is: 7041 Meadows Town Road…..about five miles west of Marshall, 28753. You can come via Weaverville to Marshall and then onto the farm, or you can take the New Leicester Highway from Patton Ave. in Asheville. GPS doesn’t always cooperate here in the countryside, but you can check our Heart of Horse Sense website for specific directions: https://www.heartofhorsesense.org/directions
